FSBTV013: Mike Colón—Live at Brooks – Part 1

In early October 2008, Brooks Institute hosted a very special F-Stop Beyond: In Living Color, which we produced in partnership with PhotographyMentor.com. A live webcast was held. Renown celebrity wedding and lifestyle photographer Mike Colón took almost three hours of his busy schedule to share his personal and professional take on life and the industry. In this episode, Mike shares how he gave up his pursuit of electrical engineering (after finishing four years of a 5-year program), to pursue his passion. Even if it meant shooting university graduating shots on a hot afternoon for only thirty-five bucks. Enjoy this “Inside the Actors Studio” style interview.

  1. Saw this on Mike’s blog. For some reason, it just wouldn’t buffer correctly, I dunno it might be an issue with some embedding script on his page that isn’t the same on this page, cuz I watched it perfectly fine here.

Mike is an awesome guy. Looking forward to the rest in this series!!
