Last year around this time I had the pleasure of having editorial photojournalist Vincent Laforet. It was during a series on “giving back” to the community and Vincent talked extensively about his work documenting the Katrina damage, as well as his amazing career. I notice the exact same thing at events: all the photographers are shooting from the same crappy spot. Shooting from a completely completely different place has them eventually trickling over.
